What makes tungsten weights any more "special" than good'ol lead weights, other than it's more environmental friendly?
I mean i don't think the shininess of tungsten is going to make you catch more. And making your own lead weights are way easier due to a lower melting point.

Tungsten is much denser than Lead, and that allows you to get the same amount of weight in a much smaller profile making them easier to control. Yea they cost more and are more environmentally friendly but they are worth spending the extra money in my opinion.

They increase your sensitivity and feel for the bottom & the bite, they get you better hooksets
