Strike King Pro Staffers Competing in the 2011 Bassmaster Classic

Strike King will have four representatives competing in the 2011 Bassmaster Classic. Three of the four are previous Classic winners. Two of the four have won the BASS Angler of the Year award (Another has won AOY on the FLW Tour). The four together have fished a total of 58 Classics. Strike King salutes our 2011 Bassmaster Classic qualifiers!

Greg HackneyGreg Hackney of Gonzales, Louisiana will be competing in his 10th Bassmaster Classic. Greg will be in familiar territory and hopes that "Home Field Advantage" will propel him to his first Classic Title. Greg is a fierce competitor who is a threat to win any tournament he enters.

Shaw GrigsbyShaw Grigsby of Gainesville, Florida is a familiar face on the BASS circuit. Shaw will be fishing his 13th Classic and hopes to finesse his way to his first Classic title. Shaw is an experienced angler and a fan favorite who is always ready with a smile and a good word. Don't be fooled, Shaw believes there is only one reason to fish a Classic and that is to win it!

Mark DavisMark Davis of Mount Ida, Arkansas is always ready with a story from his experiences as a country boy from Arkansas. Mark has fished in 14 previous Classics and will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Louisiana for the 2011 event. Mark's strength is his ability to adapt his fishing style to the location and conditions he faces in a given tournament. Mark has won the Classic before and knows what it takes to hoist the trophy. Tilley and the boys would be happy to help Mark clear out a space in the trophy case for another piece of Classic hardware!

Kevin VanDamKevin VanDam from Kalamazoo, Michigan needs no introduction in bass fishing circles. He's won more tournaments and money than any other bass fisherman in history. Kevin is a bass-fishing machine who likes to cover a lot of water and give the fish lots of opportunities to take his lure. Kevin always figures he has a chance to win as long as it's not past the weigh-in time and he has proven it many times by coming from behind on the last day to win. Multiple Angler of the Year titles and Classic wins prove that KVD is a force to be reckoned with.
