Hansleman Hammers Them Again

If Ray Hanselman doesn’t hoist the winner’s trophy tomorrow, he’s already had a season that most anglers could only dream off. If he does, he’s pretty much pulled off the unthinkable. If he wins, Ray will have won every single Rayovac that he competed in this year. Read that again then let it sink in…. And I’m talking about all 3. 3 in the Texas Division as well as the Championship. Yeah, that’s pretty unfathomable.

After entering day 2 in second place, Ray took his “all in on the big smallie” game plan back out on the Ohio River for a second day in a row. Although, the poundage didn’t match yesterday, his 5 fish haul of 11 lbs. 14 oz. was enough to overtake the day 1 leader. Ray will now enter the final day with a 2 ½ pound lead. He didn’t want to divulge too much just yet about his lure choices and technique, but I have a hunch that we’ll get to read about it for the next few days on every fishing media site.

All the chips will be pushed to the center of the table tomorrow in Paducah, KY as the 2015 Rayovac FLW Series Championship comes to a close. The only question is will Hanselman get a trick, or a treat, from the big brown fish he has dedicated this event to chasing.
