June 25, 2005 – Collierville, TN.

Man what a month June has been. First KVD catches an 11 pounder in Texas and wins the Lewisville Elite 50, than backs it up with another Elite 50 win at Lake Wissota and wraps up the Elite 50 Angler of the year for the second year in a row.

Lets do the math, 8 total Elite 50 events, 2 Angler of the Year crowns. Between Mark Davis and Kevin Team Strike King has dominated the Elite 50’s with 5 wins and 2 points championships!

Then a new member to Team Strike King, Mark Menendez comes back from a life threatening bout with meningitis to win the Southern Bass Open event at West Point Lake for his first tourney in four months and the another rookie Team Strike King member Greg “The Hack Attack” Hackney finishes fourth at the Potomac FLW event and is crowned the FLW Land O’ Lakes Angler of the Year!
