Team Strike King adds Greg Hackney to its Elite line-up of Pro-Staff members.

Collierville, TN – Strike King Lure Company is proud to announce the addition of Greg Hackney of Gonzalas, LA to its elite National Pro-Staff.

Greg has been one of the hottest anglers on both tournament trails. Incredibly, he finished 2nd in points in both the B.A.S.S. and FLW Tours in 2004. He earned the 2004 B.A.S.S. Rookie of the Year honor, nearly won the Angler of the Year title and qualified for the Elite 50 series! He finished up 2004 as the points leader in the Central B.A.S.S. Open circuit and had an impressive second place finish in the B.A.S.S. Open Championship. This earned him a berth in the 2005 BassMasters Classic in Pittsburgh, PA and the 2005 Busch Shootout!

Pro-Staff Director Chris Brown says, “We were looking to add one of the promising up and coming anglers to our elite national pro staff. The more we looked, the more Greg Hackney’s name kept coming up. Our current pro-staff are all very high on Greg and several said he was the best angler on the trail right now. Greg said he was humbled to be considered as an addition to the Strike King pro-staff and honored that we hired him. We all feel that he will be a terrific addition to our team and are excited to have him. It will be fun cheering him and the rest of our team on in the coming season!”
