Zone 2 – November
Strike King pro Rick Harris highlights typical bass patterns in Zone 2 during November.
In November in Zone 2, Rick Harris expects water temperatures to be between low 60's to uppper 50's. Rick's first target is rock since it warms up the fastest as the sun rises. He says bass will normally be eating a lot of crawfish since they are molting this time of year, making them more vulnerable. He will target steeper rock banks close to main channels, and then transition to those channels for bass following bait.

When fishing in clear water, Harris prefers the Hardliner in Rosie. Demon Craw is his top choice in stained water, while Spring Craw does the job in muddy conditions.
The Hardliner feels like an old, familiar favorite with a fresh appearance and an undeniably irresistible, tight wobble that bass can’t resist.
Harris prefers Pro Blue Glimmer in clear water, Matte Pro Bone in stained, and Pro Siren is his top choice in muddy conditions.
Taking performance to the next level, Strike King’s KVD J300 Elite Jerkbait has a proprietary weight transfer system to maximize casting distance and three premium black nickel hooks to deliver lethal action every time.
Dirty Shad with a Tour Grade FluoroSpin trailer in Pearl is his top choice for clear water. Tennessee Shad is his top choice in stained water, while Pearl is his go-to for muddy conditions.
Harris trusts the proprietary Elaztech™ material that can be pulled at, nipped at, and chomped on time after time without tearing, degrading, or losing elasticity.
When fishing in clear or stained water, Harris prefers Willow/Willow White/Silver with a Caffeine Shad trailer in Pearl. Willow/Willow Green Glimmer is his top choice in stained water, while he reaches Willow/Willow Chartreuse/White for muddy conditions.
The Tour Grade Spinnerbait features aturalistic painted willow blades to allow for more flash of color. The light wire frame helps produce maximum vibration, paired with a pro-designed, hand-tied skirt.
Harris's clear water pick is Bone Craw, while he prefers Delta Red in stained water. For muddier conditions, he chooses Golden Shiner.
The Red Eyed Shad has become the standard bearer lipless crankbait on the pro tour.

Zone 2 – November
Strike King pro Todd Faircloth says November is one of the most productive months for catching bass in Zone 2.
Across the country, air temperatures are dropping, and in Zone 2, water temperatures typically hover in the 60s—ideal conditions for fish to enter their winter feeding pattern. “This is one of the best months of the year for catching numbers of fish,” Faircloth explains.
He suggests focusing on flats and creek channels in larger creek arms. “Concentrate in 3 to 10 feet of water, targeting the outside edges of grass lines or any wood cover,” he advises.

If the water is clear, Faircloth prefers Chrome Blue. In stained water, he switches to Chrome Black. For muddy water, he will favor Gold Black Back.
Known as a “deadly lipless crankbait,” the Red Eyed Shad has incredible action, premium hooks, 3D eyes, and free-floating rattles. Faircloth loves this crankbait because of its ability to cover shallow flats while also being extremely efficient around rocks.
Faircloth’s choice for clear water is Green Gizzard Shad, while he opts for Tennessee Shad if the water is stained. Chartreuse Perch is Faircloth’s choice in low-vis conditions.
Designed to the exact specifications of KVD®, the 1.5 has a unique hunting action because of its squarebill design. It deflects perfectly off of cover and is rattle-free for a silent approach.
He opts for Carolina Chrome in clear water, and switches to Bone if the water is stained. Faircloth chooses Black Lab in muddy water.
Faircloth chooses the KVD Sexy Dawg because it’s a premium, “walk- the-dog” topwater lure with great action. When bass are chasing bait near the surface, he always has one tied on.
If the water is clear, he will throw Crystal Shad, while more stained water calls for Chartreuse Shad. He picks up Pro Citrus Shad in low-vis or muddy conditions.
KVD J300 can dive up to 7-feet and has 3D eyes, premium black nickel hooks, and increased castability for lethal action. Anglers from coast to coast keep the J300 on the boat deck this time of year.
He opts for Blue Gizzard in clear water. If the water is stained, he will throw Sexy Shad, while he will switch to Blue Back Chartreuse if the water is muddy.
A medium-sized body with a wider wobble and an oversized bill to deflect off cover. The Series 4 is great for medium depth, heavy cover applications and dirty water.
