If the water is clear, Hackney prefers White Shadow. In stained, muddy, or low-vis water, he switches to Black.
Hackney’s choice for clear water is Sexy Shad, while he opts for Chartreuse Sexy Shad if the water is stained. In muddy water, he reaches for a Cataouatche Special. In muddy water, Hackney favors a Black Blue Flake.
Hackney opts for the Plum Crazy in clear water, and switches to a Junebug if the water is stained.
If the water is clear, Hackney will throw a Green Pumpkin, while more stained water calls for a California Craw. He reaches for a Black Neon when fishing in muddy water with low visibility.
