November Zone 1

Zone 1 – November

Strike King pro Denny Brauer advises anglers to look shallow for the best November bites.

In Zone 1, bass really start to feed up and move as bait moves. “You may lose a school that was stacked in October as they start to move in search of food as their bait supply moves,” shares Brauer. A key piece of advice from Brauer – “Overall, look shallower than where you found them in October.”

“This is a great month to catch a giant bass on top water, but you need to stay open minded and cover water,” says Brauer. He tends to look in major creeks and bays as the water temperature drops. Don’t overlook some of your “go-to” spots, though. “There is very little fishing pressure for the most part in November, so that makes some obvious places a little better to fish,” concludes Brauer.

Strike King pro Dakota Ebare highlights some of the typical bass patterns in Zone 1.

With bass prepping for colder winter months, they will likely be found farther back in creeks, Ebare advises. “Shad will still be a large focus as bass are feeding up for winter,” says Ebare.
